Our mission is to provide day shelter, resources, emotional support, and community connections to women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty. For 28 years we have been filling the gap of day-time resources as the ONLY low-barrier day shelter for this population in downtown Portland. Rose Haven’s services not only address immediate needs, but empowers our guests to address long-term change through compassionate trauma-informed care during the daytime, when people can put the pieces back together.

Girls On the Run of Portland Metro

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
